The Red-era Crimson lays down an intense half hour of jams on French TV. Fripp seems to engaging in a staring contest with one of the cameras, all the while playing some ridiculous riffs. A band at the top of its game!
A note on my father

My father died almost exactly fifteen years ago. These scrimshaw cufflinks were his, as were rings and tie clips I also inherited. None of the rings fit me, and I don’t wear shirts that require cufflinks. I should.
